Utility models

A utility model as an invention is a technical solution of a problem.

Utility models are often referred to as "petty patents" (or innovation patents).

There are major differences between a utility model and an invention.

First, not all technical solutions are protected as a utility model, but only those that are referred to a type of device.

Second, an inventive level requirement is not specified for a utility model.
