Holders of right in a trademark

A trademark may be registered in the name of a legal entity or an individual.

An individual is not required to be registered as a private entrepreneur.

However, registration of a trademark in the name of an individual, not being a private entrepreneur, may have further serious negative consequences. And registration of a trademark in the name of an individual should be approached with great degree of care or in case of urgent necessity.
