Integrated circuit topography
Integrated Circuit Topography (hereinafter - Topography) is a dimensional geometric layout of elements of an integrated circuit and their interconnections fixed in a tangible medium.
The term “integrated circuit” describes a micro-electronic device in its final or intermediate form that is designed to perform the functions of an electronic circuit, the elements and links of which have been inseparably formed in the amount and (or) on the surface of the material that was used for the device manufacturing.
An integrated circuit topography is granted legal protection in the Republic of Belarus upon registration in the National Registry of integrated circuit topographies of the National Center of Intellectual Property.
The legal protection does not extend to ideas, methods, systems, technology or any encoded information, which can be embodied in a topography.
